Tasty Teriyaki beef noodles Recipe

This stir-fried dish is sweet, savoury and super quick!
Teriyaki beef noodles

  • 200g Chang’s Thai-style rice noodles

  • 450g beef scotch fillet steak, trimmed, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce

  • 1 cup Massel chicken style liquid stock

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 5cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated

  • 2 red onions, thinly sliced

  • 2 bunches asparagus, trimmed, cut into 2cm lengths

  • 150g snow pea sprouts, halved

  • 60g beansprouts, trimmed


  • Step 1

    Place noodles in a heatproof bowl. Cover with boiling water. Set aside for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, place beef in a glass or ceramic dish. Pour over half the teriyaki sauce. Turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Drain beef. Combine remaining teriyaki sauce, stock, garlic and ginger in a jug.

  • Step 3

    Heat a wok over medium-high heat. Spray onion with oil. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add half the beef. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until browned. Remove to a bowl. Repeat with remaining beef.

  • Step 4

    Stir-fry asparagus for 1 minute. Add beef mixture, noodles and sauce mixture. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until sauce boils. Remove from heat. Add snow pea sprouts and beansprouts. Stir until bean sprouts just wilt. Serve.
