Delicious Cranberry relish Recipe

This gorgeous cranberry relish is the perfect side for a roast dinner or festive feast.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

  • 1 red onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cups (300g) Coles Brand Frozen Cranberries

  • 1/2 cup (110g) brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) red wine

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) red wine vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until soft.

  • Step 2

    Add the cranberries, sugar, wine, vinegar and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring, for 10 mins or until the sauce thickens slightly. Set aside to cool.
